Reminder ISO Regional Grid Public Meeting Set for February 8

FOLSOM, CA --(Marketwired - February 01, 2016) - The California Independent System Operator Corp. (ISO) will hold a public meeting on February 8 to begin shaping the studies required by California Senate Bill 350, the Clean Energy and Pollution Reduction Act, which will support creating a western regional energy market.

SB 350 provides the ISO a path toward modifying its governance structure and creating a multi-state regional power grid that begins with performing a series of studies that will look at the benefit to consumers and the California economy, impacts to the environment, greenhouse gas emissions, and integrating renewable energy resources. 

The February 8 meeting at the ISO headquarters in Folsom, California is available to the public in-person, by web and by phone. If planning to attend in person, please respond by Feb. 4 to smc@caiso.com.
